Château de Chaintré Pouilly-fuissé

After the grapes are hand harvested, they are sorted to ensure only the healthiest and ripest grapes are vinified. The grapes are pressed gently with a pneumatic press before being put into stainless steel tanks to settle and ferment using indigenous yeasts. The wines are then aged in 90% stainless steel and 10% oak barrels (50% new and 50% second and third fill) for 11 months on their fine lees to add depth and complexity.

Fresh and fruity, the 2015 vintage has the perfect balance between ripe stone fruit aromas and delicate mineral characters from the limestone clay soil.
